Two months and fifteen days.
That's how long the new king had been on throne.
And in that time, England was beginning to show some promise.
Especially in London, only two months ago had the streets been swarming with bandits, crooks and Maleficent's minions.
The citizens had been scared to come out of their homes and some had even took off out of fear:
However even before the invasions London was in a state, rumour had it that certain corners were run by violent gangs and that the strong preyed on the weak.
Now in the square a few miles off of the castle, a farmers market was being held and was wildly bustling.
Among the crowds was a hooded young boy.
The king born of England made his way through the market. He wore his hood at the right angle to his cover face but also being able to see.
Arthur was wanted resume as much as of his old life as possible, even if  it meant going around in disguise:
Despite this, he was wearing a smile.
This had been the first time in a long while that he had felt completely content in a while,
No duties for the day, Merlin was experimenting on his blade and it was a beautiful day.
He bought an apple from a nearby stand and headed onwards, little did he know he was being followed.
Arthur took a short cut down an alley but wasn't even halfway when a hand reached out and pulled his hood down, he yelped and spun around on the spot.
"Merlin! You scared me!" He hissed
The old Mage chuckled a little at the blondes reaction.
"I couldn't help myself" Merlin admitted as he polished his glasses "am I right in thinking that you're trying to be 'incognito'?"
Arthur's cheeks puffed up, childishly.
"How'd you know it was me?"
Merlin smirked as if he was glad he asked.
"Now let's see where to begin, well for a start Ive seen that exact cloak, hanging up in your room many a time and your shiftiness looked a bit suspicious"
Arthur looked a little forlorn that his identity had been uncovered so easily.
"I'll give you some advice" Merlin sat on a crate, "if you'd like to blend in with your people then you needn't go skulking around In the shadows"
"What do You suggest I do?"
"Think outside the box"
He gave the boy a firm smack on his head with his wand, transforming Arthur's whole attire.
He was now wearing a flat cap, with a red tunic, a long blazer and some patchy trousers.
"Ah, there we are that's much better" he laughed as Arthur examined his reflection in a broken mirror "You look more like a stable boy rather than someone who doesn't wish to be seen"
The wizard stood up again, brushing some dust of off himself.
Arthur looked happier and turned to his mentor and advisor and asked.
"Did you discovery anything?"
"About what?"
"About the sword from the stone?"
After an incident regarding the haunts of the mansion, he'd handed over his legendary blade to Merlin to be experimented on.
There was more to it than met the eye.
But what?
"Not yet" Merlin said "but I'm as stoked as ever I can assure you however I need to come back and review it with fresh eyes"
He headed to streets with Arthur in tow.
"Shall we hit a café?" The apprentice asked
"No, I need to stretch my legs, I think now would be a good time to teach about trade and agriculture"
And with that Merlin led him back through the markets

((Cause of an absence of Merlin I'm going to try and incorporate him into my rps, let me know if they're are any spelling mistakes. I'm feeling pretty ill and I wrote this on an iPhone so they're might be some))

*At the market, there was no other than Minister Frollo himself. The old man was wearing the hood of his cape down, as if he were not hiding anymore and, to make it all more peculiar, he was at a flower stall, purchasing a bouquet of white lilies... and there was a small smile on his face.*
